Our Story
Long Island Rage Fastpitch was founded in January 2020, and we created an environment and culture where it’s about fairness, opportunity and for these girls to enjoy themselves playing the sport that they love. Our coaches look to teach all our girls how to be great and supportive teammates and to play the game of softball with respect and dignity. These times are for these girls to play as much as they can, to make friendships and learn life lessons that they will all carry into adulthood.
We welcome all levels of play and our coaching staff will evaluate your daughter when they tryout and throughout their Rage career. We have different levels of teams to accommodate all players and allow them to have plenty of playing time to enhance their skills, build their confidence and allow them to grow as a player and teammate.
LI Rage Partners with NY Rise
We are proud to announce that we will be partnering/sponsoring the New York Rise Professional Fastpitch team for a 3rd year in a row. We are super excited to have the NY Rise playing here on Long Island and will do what we can to keep them playing. Our Long Island Rage organization will always support NY Rise, and we are honored to be here to help in their growth for all the young ladies looking to play professional softball after college.

- Winter Speed & Agility Classes run by former D1 Stony Brook catcher, Emily Reinstein
- Winter Pitchers & Catchers sessions with Emily Reinstein & former D3 starting pitcher, Lauren Stensland
- Weekly Practices (minimum of 2 per week)**
- Fields located in Islip, East Islip, Holbrook & Sayville

*our 14U, 16U & 18U teams will not play in Spring Leagues due to school ball. League play will also depend on schedule availability and level of competition
**During school ball months Mar-May our 14U, 16U & 18U teams will have a lightened practice schedule
The Long Island Rage organization started the LI Rage College Scholarship Fund in 2022. At the end of every softball year (late July/early August) we will be awarding 2 girls from each team a Scholarship. This scholarship can be used for college, trade school or any post high school educational programs or institutions. If they choose to not go to college then the check will be made out to them. In order for girls to earn this award the coaches for each team along with the President of the organization will be looking for the following criteria:

- Sportsmanship
- Overall Growth
