Our Story
LI Rage Partners with NCSA
Long Island Rage Fastpitch teams up with NCSA to give you a recruiting advantage. Joining the LI Rage organization is your first step on your college recruiting journey. Now, you’ll be able to work directly with your coaches to keep your recruiting game on track. Once you’ve joined the LI Rage organization, you’ll begin to set up your NCSA recruiting profile. Your profile gives you nationwide exposure to college coaches looking for athletes to fill their roster.
Our Program
Included in our yearly program are the following for each of our teams
- Fall, Spring & Summer League Play*
- Fall, Spring & Summer Tournaments
- Winter Workouts at our own indoor facility located in Bohemia
- Indoor Facility for year-round work
- Weekly practices**
- Fields located in East Islip & Holbrook
- Dedicated Coaching staff
- All-Star profile with our college recruiting partner, NCSA
- Ability to earn yearly scholarships towards post HS career
*our 14U & 16U teams will not play in Spring Leagues due to school ball. League play will also depend on schedule availability and level of competition.
**During school ball months Mar – May our 14U & 16U teams will have a lightened practice schedule
The Long Island Rage organization started the LI Rage College Scholarship Fund in 2022. At the end of every softball year (late July/early August) we will be awarding 2 girls from each team a Scholarship. This scholarship can be used for college, trade school or any post high school educational programs or institutions. If they choose to not go to college then the check will be made out to them. In order for girls to earn this award the coaches for each team along with the President of the organization will be looking for the following criteria:
- Yearly Stats
- Leadership
- Sportsmanship
- Overall Growth
We are very excited for this new venture for our organization and hope this makes all our girls want to strive to be better players but more importantly better teammates and people.
